The weekend will focus on the music and dance of several of the Orixás, with space and time to study the three disciplines separately, before fusing them for the final sessions and performance.
Drummers will learn the bell, support drum patterns, lead drum technique and sequences for the Brazilian Orixás. Singers will learn some of the Orixá call and response songs, with the accompaniment of the drummers. Dancers will learn the movements, sequences and language of some of the Cuban Orisha dances.
