Our Manchester Music Service

Abraham Moss High School

Abraham Moss High School have invested in regular performing arts provision including Brazilian Percussion, Brazilian Dance and textiles (Carnival Arts) as well as music technology using apple based systems. There regular performing arts provision has enabled Bangdrum CIC to support the early stages of development for a new fundraising arm ‘Friends of Abraham Moss’; that will help to support performing arts provision in the local community. As well as direct investment into the school they have also invested in the wider community helping to pay for much needed rent and project management for the community group ‘Cabasa Carnival Arts’ based in Tameside.

Newall Green High School Wythenshawe

Newall green have invested in weekly Brass and Drum Kit classes that have helped to pay for a new apple mac suite in our community carnival centre in Manchester. Thank You! 

St Paul`s CE Primary School (withington)

Bangdrum CIC supply St Pauls Withington with regular music services including wider opportunities guitar, African drumming and steel pan tuition.

Benchill Primary School

Benchill have invested in weekly 'wider ops' percussion classes taking advantage of our modular training programme enableing their students to progress in a veriety of percussive styles form around the world including cultures from Brazil, Inida, North Africa and West Africa.

Manley Park Primary School

Manley Park are recieving weeking expert tuition to help develop their 'wider opportunities' guitar programme. We look forward to developing more exciting project with them in the future.

Our Oldham Music Service

North Chaddertion High School

Our newest Partner North Chatterton have recently switched their entire provision to BangDrum CIC. They will now benefit from extra musical equipment donated to their school to keep, expert tuition with modern 'student friendly' approaches and discounts on their one off workshop needs. BangDrum will be delivering Brass, Woodwind, Guitar, Percussion and Strings lessons weekly.


Waterhead Academy Oldham

Waterhead Academy – Formally Breeze Hill School have had a long standing partnership with Bangdrum CIC supporting our work since 2001. Much of our early success is due to the investment and support shown by teachers and staff in the school. Waterhead Academy currently invest in international percussion ensemble work and one to one tuition. 

The Radclyffe School

The Radclyffe School Oldham are one of our newest partners. We have worked in collaboration with their music and arts department to develop large scales carnival arts productions in their school. Their highly organised and creative performing / visual arts team are some of most skilled and motivated around and we are honoured to be able to work in partnership with them on their core performing arts programmes. Their investment has included on-going work in visual arts, textiles, drama, dance and music base on Brazilian, Chinese, African and Caribbean styles. This year we will be delivering the Radclyffe's entire music service provision and our competative pricing has enabled them to build their instruments bank and increase their whole provision.

Gallery Oldham, Library and Lifelong Learning Centre

Gallery Oldham are a long standing partner and investor helping to support our afterschool’s music and dance provision since 2001. There are many ways in which you can invest into opportunities for young people and Gallery Oldham have provided us with invaluable rehearsal and development space for the past 10 years as well as equipment storage and administrative support. Our afterschool’s music and dance programmes simply would not run in Oldham without them. Their investment has enabled literally thousands of young people in the borough engage with the arts in a safe and inspiring environment.


Oldham MBC Arts Development 

We have had a long standing partnership with Oldham MBC investing into our core afterschool’s programme since 1996. We have seen thousands of young people from in and around Oldham benefit from their investment in the way of free regular music and dance activity in the town centre. Oldham's have provided financial support for tutors fees and musical equipment, supporting a cross section of Oldham youth community as well as commissioning partnership working with a number of schools and arts organisations in the local area.

Our Lancashire Music Service

Stoneyholme Primary School

Our newest Lancashire partner Stoneyholme has contracted BangDrum CIC to deliver a year’s regular music provision in south Asian music styles. As their school has 99% Asian population they wanted to deliver music tuition that acknowledged the cultures within the school. BangDrum will be putting together s full school carnival performance group based on Bhangra and South Asian percussion and song styles helping the school to reach out to the community by incorporating regular performances in the community and encouraging parents and families to work together on productions.


St Michael's C E High School - Chorley

St Michael's C E High School are one of our oldest partners. St Michaels regularly invest in large scale production support from our team. Tuition includes Dance (Brazilian and African), Capoeira, Brazilian Music and Percussion, Textiles and Visual Arts and from time to time Theatre. They have one of the best performing arts teams in Lancashire schools and it’s always a pleasure visiting them in any capacity. Our tutors look forward to our yearly productions involving whole year groups. Their investment has been invaluable helping to pay for much needed musical equipment and a new vehicle to deliver our regular music work in schools in and around the Northwest of England.

The University of Central Lancashire

UCLAN are another of our most recent investors. Working alongside their ‘Worldwise Learning Project’ we have helped to develop a Brazilian music project offering regular tuition at their purpose built multi-million pound performing arts facility ‘The Media Factory’. There investment provides an invaluable contribution to our core budget costs.
